AloneWith!aDrone is the trading name for David Farrow, Camera Assistant, Drone Pilot, Adventure Traveller, Photographer and Mechanical Design Engineer. I specialise in outdoor shoots, with a particular interest in Travel, Adventure, Extreme Sports and Wildlife.
I market myself primarily as a second Camera Assistant, but always look for the chance to pull focus or jump behind a viewfinder for smaller jobs, I also hold a CAA Permission for Commercial Drone Operation, and know my way around Film & TV equipment, as well as professional handheld bodies and smaller action cameras and grip equipment.
I have been fortunate that my attitude and etiquette have been forged on the sets of some of the largest films in the world, having started my career in film as a Propmaker, then advancing to Animatronics before developing a passion for cinematography; I can therefore utilise my design and engineering skills, so if you can't buy it, I can probably make it.
I beleive my greatest strength to be my ability to figure out solutions, so overall I am a versatile camera operator with a wide knowledge base and skillset, making me dependable, adaptable and I'm told: a pleasure to work with.
Although based in the SW of England, I am happy to travel anywhere in the country, or indeed the world, for the right job.
